Agent: Sophie Hicks

Sif Sigmarsdóttir is an author and a journalist originally from Iceland. Having obtained a BA from the University of Iceland, and an MA in children’s literature from the University of Reading with distinction in 2003, she is now living in London.

Sif has been writing children’s books for ten years and her novels for teenagers and young adults are bestsellers in Iceland. Her most recent book, Freya’s Saga, was nominated for the Icelandic Literary Prize, the most prestigious literary award in Iceland. Alongside her fiction, Sif writes journalism, book reviews and columns for Iceland’s leading newspapers, magazines and book publishers. Sif has a column in Iceland’s main newspaper, The Frettabladid, on politics and current affairs.

Her first book in English, the hotly anticipated I AM TRAITOR, was published by Hodder in Fall 2017.
