Lee Boyce is a financial journalist and assistant editor at This is Money, part of the world’s largest online newspaper, the Mail Online. He studied creative writing and journalism at university, before going on to gain his NCTJ.
In the past decade, he has written serious investigations into mis-selling at Britain’s banks to viral pieces about coins and bank notes, read by millions. From investing to pensions, motoring to holidays, there is no topic he hasn’t covered when it comes to the pound in your pocket.
He is co-star of the This is Money podcast, writes the popular weekly Consumer Trends column and has had stories published in the Daily Mail.
Despite his daughter Brooke only being two years-old, Lee tries to hammer home the importance of compound interest and quantitative easing during playtime. He believes you’re never too young, or old, to learn about personal finance and its importance.
He lives in Rayleigh, Essex with his wonderful wife Danielle and when he is not all consumed by writing about money, he loves long walks in his beautiful native county, far flung exotic jaunts or simply sitting in his favourite chair with rescue cat Cali on his lap, ice-cold beer in hand. His first book, written with co-author Jesse McClure, NEVER GO BROKE is published by Octopus Publishing in May 2021.
