Danny Scheinmann is an author, actor and teacher. He has lectured in the performing arts department of the London Metropolitan University, and given workshops at the Royal Court and at the Globe theatre. Danny has taken his story-telling all over the world, touring in over thirty countries.
In 2008 Danny published his first novel, Random Acts of Heroic Love, which was a Sunday Times bestseller and translated into 21 different languages.
Alongside his writing and story-telling Danny is a long-established actor on stage and screen, with recent roles in Our Men (2013, starring Mitchell and Webb), and World Without End (2012), based on the novel by Ken Follet. Danny combined his performing and writing skills in the creation of the 2005 film West Wittering Affair, which won the Best Actors award at the Cinequest Film Festival USA 2006, and Best Film at the Jackson Hole Film Festival USA 2006.
Danny's latest book is The Half Life of Joshua Jones published by Unbound in 2016.
