Fiona Beckett is an award-winning food and drink journalist, author and web publisher with over 25 years experience of writing for the UK’s top newspapers and magazines. She is currently wine columnist for The Guardian and National Geographic Travel Food magazine and restaurant critic for Decanter and publishes her own website

She has written 25 books on a wide range of subjects from champagne to cheese, as well as series of e-books on food and wine matching entitled 101 Great Ways to Enjoy… Her latest book Winelover’s Kitchen (2017) was published by Ryland, Peters & Small. 

Fiona has been named Food Journalist of the Year by the British Guild of Food Writers and she has been a judge for a number of major literary awards including, most recently the Louis Roederer International Wine Writers’ Awards, Andre Simon Awards and the BBC Food & Farming Awards. She travels regularly and divides her time at home between London and Bristol.
